Meet Birdie! <br/><br/>Birdie is a sweet little Miniature Poodle who was rescued from a breeding facility and is just beginning to discover what it means to be a beloved family dog. She is 6 years old and 7.7 lbs. She is shy and still learning to trust people, but once she is safely in your arms, her sweet personality comes shining through. Birdie absolutely loves to cuddle! <br/><br/>Right now, Birdie doesn't yet come up to people on her own, so you will need to gently catch her when it's time to pick her up. Once you have her in your arms, though, she is very happy to snuggle and soak up the love.<br/><br/>She is still in the early stages of learning how to live in a home. She is not leash trained yet and is working on her potty training. Because of this, Birdie will need a securely fenced yard and another friendly, confident dog in the home to help show her the ropes and give her companionship.<br/><br/>Birdie is going to need someone who understands that progress takes time and is willing to let her build confidence at her own pace.
