Birdie's Story
Birdie was dumped somewhere in WV and thankfully, a kind Samaritan kept her safe for two days until the warden was able to secure placement for her. The petite stunner is back to her optimum weight and looks even better -- if that's possible -- than she did as the skinny, starved arrival that she was. Her brown ticking, freckling her white coat, might conjure up Pointer or Brittany in her breeding, but clearly she has that blocky noggin and stout bod that point to some bully breeds.

She is gentle and walks beautifully on a leash. Medium-size and from first impressions is probably around 2 years old. Birdie may be happiest as your one and only, but she offers plenty of love to everyone she meets.

You can visit the dogs from noon - 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays, otherwise by appointment. We always recommend submitting an application (and a copy of recent vet records for your current pets if applicable) to info@aradopt.org.

Link to application: https://www.angelridgeanimalrescue.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Dog-Application.pdf
