Birdie's Story

Birdie is a 3.5 year old, 45 lb female Pointer/Border Collie mixed breed.

Birdie is currently located in South Texas and will be transported north.

This beautiful and fun girl is Birdie. She was rescued at a young age from Animal Control and has grown up with children and other dogs. Birdie is very playful and enjoys running and zooming around the backyard. She is energetic but well-mannered, and knows some basic commands. Birdie has gotten along well with most dogs she has met but has had some issues with a dog in her home, so she could be a little picky with her dog friends. Perhaps a dog with a calmer personality could be a good friend for her, or she would be fine as an only dog too. Birdie has an issue with her right eye that impairs vision in that eye, but it doesn't slow her down or bother her in anyway. She is ready to walk, run, hike or any other outdoor activity - she loves to explore and be out with her family. Birdie would love the chance to live in a cool climate with an active person or family who can include her in their adventures - this medium sized bird is ready to fly!

Our organization only adopts within the United States and Canada.

Faith and Hope is an established rescue group based in Texas but delivers to multiple states on the East and West Coast. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and others, with placement in their adoptive family’s homes. Our $400 adoption fee includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies) spay/neuter, microchip and transportation fee.

If interested in learning more, please email us at faithandhopeadoptions@gmail.com or fill out our online application.

https://www.faithandhopefoundation.org/adoptionapp

If interested in learning more about our adoptable pets, the adoption process, or our home based foster program, please contact us at the above email.

Due to the number of requests that we receive on our adoptable pets, please be advised that all adoption applications are processed in the order received.
