Birdie

Meet Birdie<br/><br/>Birdie was surrendered to the Dallas Animal Shelter with her sister by her owners, both extremely emaciated. After a full medical evaluation and some TLC…it was suspected that the previous owner was purposely starving them. But when you meet Birdie, you would never know that she was neglected. She has the most fun loving personality! She has never met a stranger that she isn’t ecstatic to meet.<br/><br/>Literally….every person she meets is her new best friend. Birdie is only about 2 years old, so she still has A LOT of puppy energy.<br/>By the looks of the stains she had on her fur when we first rescued her, we suspect that she was previously kept in a small outdoor crate.<br/><br/>Birdie is looking for a fun energetic human to show her that the world is an awesome place. We are still awaiting Birdies DNA results but we think that she may be have Pitbull/Pointer mix.<br/><br/>Birde is :<br/>Crate training (also…not a mooring dog. Will sleep in to 9am if you let her)<br/>Potty trained<br/>Great with people<br/>Good with dogs her size or bigger.<br/>No Small dogs or Cats<br/>No young kids just because of how jumpy she is.<br/><br/><br/>If she sounds like the perfect match, please fill out an adoption application so that we can schedule a call/meet and greet.<br/>Note: We do not ship dogs out of state. You must come to the Dallas area to meet our dogs prior to adoption.
