At her kennel door, she can be a little pushy and forward because she's so excited to get out and greet the world. Once she's out, you'll quickly see what a happy, friendly dog she really is.<br/><br/>While Birdie is full of enthusiasm, she can also be a bit timid in new situations. On leash, she may become unsure of herself and can occasionally submissive urinate when she's nervous. With patience, positive reinforcement, and a little confidence-building, we think she'll continue to come out of her shell.<br/><br/>Birdie already knows "sit," enjoys treats (when they meet her standards!), and absolutely loves a good zoomie session. We ask that you take a moment to fill out our adoption application. Once your application has been reviewed, a member of our team will call you to schedule a time to meet the dog you are interested in. If you don't have a specific dog in mind you may still schedule a time to visit with our dogs. We allow walk-in's but we can't guarantee a staff member will be available to assist you should you want to meet with a specific dog.
