Meet Birdie (A568074) Birdie has only been with us for about a week, but she has already made it clear that she is not a dog who lets much get her down. She is sweet, playful and wonderfully outgoing. When you step into the yard with her, her true personality bursts through in the happiest way. This girl loves to romp, run and play. Watching her bounce around the yard makes it hard to believe she had to be trapped in order to come here. Somehow she has decided all of that is behind her. She acts like she knows she is safe now and has no reason to run anymore. Her resilience is just as beautiful as her spirit. Birdie is one of those dogs who brings light into whatever space she enters and we know she will make a family very happy. She has not yet been tested with other dogs, so we are still learning more about her. What we know for certain is that she has a big heart, a joyful personality and a desire to connect with the people around her. Birdie deserves a home that will continue bringing out the best in her.
