Birdie's Story

Birdie has been adopted twice so far, the first adopter surrendered her and her second abandoned her in the dessert where she was found by a coyote hunter. Birdie is a sweet hound who is looking for a committed adopted to give her a real chance. She is gentle, playful and absolutely loves people. I would label her has a velcro dog. She does great with other dogs but does like being the center of attention. She is energetic and is starting to run more, but she is still struggling to move due to her weight, but he has shown great improvement with daily walks and restricted food intake. Birdie would do great with someone who understand hounds and can safely help her lose weight.
