What is SAFARI - Special Animal Friends and Rescue, Inc.’s adoption process?

We hold adoption events every weekend, our schedule is available on our webpage www.safarianimalrescue.org. We require a potential adopter to attend an adoption event, complete an application, and be interviewed by a member of our Adoption Approval Committee. If the inital application is approved, a home inspection will be scheduled. We do not do same day adoptions, and at this time we are unable to accomodate out of state adoptions, or adoptions to locations outside the metro Detroit area.
