Meet the “Tree” litter from southeast Missouri! 🌳 Please welcome Ash, Aspen, Birch, Cypress, Oakley, Olive, Maple, and Willow. These sweet pups were born outdoors on November 18 and had never been inside a home until the day they were rescued.<br/><br/>We’re incredibly grateful that their owner chose to surrender them, giving these puppies the chance at a life filled with love, comfort, and plenty of snuggles. Mama appears to be a black Lab mix, and we suspect Dad may have had some Great Pyrenees in him—several of the pups have rear double dewclaws, a common Pyrenees trait.<br/><br/>Breed guesses aside, one thing is certain: these are classic southeast Missouri mixed-breed pups! At the time of rescue, they ranged in size from just 5 pounds to a whopping 14.5 pounds, making each one as unique as the next.<br/><br/>Birch is one of the fluffier pups in this litter. He is a sweet good natured pup that likes to snuggle. He is proving to be very smart!
