Binx's Story

A-54428 According to previous owner, Rascal is a chewer. He can be very stubborn, but previous owner acknowledges that he's still a puppy. Rascal loves to play and is toy motivated. He is not a runner, but like other dogs, he does like the exercise. Previous owner states that Rascal would usually stick right by his side, which is why it was so surprising for Rascal to run off like he did, but that he must have just needed to run. Rascal is not dominant, but the previous owner states he wouldn't specifically call Rascal submissive but more an equal and very loyal. The previous owner states that whoever adopts Rascal will be lucky to have him. New prior owner stated that Binx is a great dog but would do better in a home with a yard and not an apartment setting. Binx loves to play and run and has lots of puppy energy and is very strong. Binx knows sit and he knows cage. Prior owner also stated that he is a very sweet and loving dog. And that he brought him back because of his medical issues nothing that Binx did. Per kennel attendants Rascal is NOT leash trained, does run, and needs to run. Rascal will require training and needs an energetic family. If there are kids in the home, they will need to be older; not because he's aggressive, he's not, but because he is rowdy. He loves other dogs and would benefit from another high energy dog. He does know how to sit and knows how/when to go in the kennel despite not wanting to, and is not suited for apartment living because of his energy. Rascal is very food motivated in addition to being toy motivated, and will require a lot of obedience training to tame his furvor for life.
