Binki's Story

Meet Binki—your resident goofball genius, professional good boy, and full-time "bull in a china shop." At 3 years old, this pittie mix has the brains and the personality to keep life interesting (and entertaining).
Binki already comes with a solid starter pack of commands—sit, lay down, paw, other paw (because he’s an overachiever), and even roll over. He’s incredibly smart and eager to please, which means he picks things up quickly... but it also means he gets bored just as fast. This is a dog who thrives when he has something to do, whether that’s brushing up on his skills, learning new tricks, or heading out on adventures.

And adventures? Yes please. Binki loves getting out for hikes with our volunteers and would do best in an active home that can keep up with his energy and zest for life. He’s the kind of dog who will happily join you for a trail walk and then crash hard afterward like the satisfied little tank he is.

Because Binki can sometimes forget his size and enthusiasm (again... bull in a china shop), he’d do best with older, dog-savvy kids who can handle his playful, sometimes bouncy nature. He can be a bit dog selective—though honestly, who isn’t in a shelter environment—but with the right match and proper introductions, he could potentially have a canine friend. He may also be okay with a dog-savvy cat given slow, structured introductions, but truthfully? Binki would be just as happy soaking up all the love as your one and only.

This boy thrives on consistency, structure, and a home that appreciates both his smarts and his silly side. Continued training would be a great outlet for him, but even just keeping his routine stable and engaging will set him up for success.

If you’re looking for a loyal, active, slightly chaotic best friend who will make you laugh daily and love you endlessly—Binki is your guy.
