Meet Bingo! 🐶<br/><br/>My name is Bingo, and I’m a playful, affectionate guy with a big heart, an even bigger personality, and plenty of that classic Husky charm. One of my most unique features? The tip of my tongue is always sticking out, giving me a permanently goofy grin that suits my personality perfectly.<br/><br/>My fosters describe me as quite possibly the silliest, biggest baby they’ve ever met. Seriously, GIANT BABY! ❤️ I may love an adventure, but I’m also a fantastic cuddle and nap buddy. Wherever my people are, that’s usually where I want to be.<br/><br/>I’m also a very important household supervisor. Cooking? Cleaning? Fixing something? Moving furniture? Don’t worry, I’ll be there to carefully inspect the situation and make sure everything is being done correctly. I’m curious, involved, and love being part of whatever my humans are doing.<br/><br/>I’m an active, outdoorsy dog who loves to move. My ideal day includes off-leash adventures where I can run and explore, plus a structured walk to practice my leash manners. When we’re home, I’m wonderfully housetrained and love relaxing in my crate. It’s my cozy den where I can nap or hang out quietly for a few hours.<br/><br/>I get so excited when I see my people! My tail wags, my whole body wiggles, and I simply cannot contain how happy I am that you exist. I also enjoy playing independently with my toys and investigating new sights, smells, and activities.<br/><br/>I’d be happiest as the only pet in an adult-only forever home, where I can relax, thrive, and soak up all the attention for myself.<br/><br/>I’m looking for a confident, experienced, patient family who will continue helping me grow, maintain the structure that helps me succeed, and enjoy having a goofy four-legged supervisor involved in absolutely everything they do.<br/><br/>My fosters say I’m a really good boy who tries so hard. It Takes A Village Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy
Hopeful adopters must fill out an adoption application. All applications are screened and potential matches are contacted. Follow up questions are emailed. A phone call is set up to clarify any questions about the adoption process. At that point the fosters are provided the contact information for the potential adopters. They set up a meet and greet at the fosters home. During the meet the foster will tell the potential adopter the good, the bad. and the ugly about the dog... we want total transparency in order to have an open and successful adoption. After the meet we ask the fosters and the adopters their thoughts. If the adopter would like to proceed, their references are checked and a virtual home visit is conducted. If the adoptable dog has any sort of behavioural or medical issues a plan to address the issue would be required before adoption could proceed. If all is good then the adoption contract is sent out to be signed and returned along with the adoption fee. The foster is given the green light to arrange pick up.
