Bingo's Story

My name is Bingo. I am about 14 months and 38 lbs. I am totally filled out and full grown. Let's talk about my breed. Don't let the term Heeler or Cattle Dog scare you. Some people think my breed is high energy, spastic, too crazy, can never settle, and too smart (well that one is true in my opinion). It's just not true! Not all heelers are equal.

Here are the FACTS about me and me as an individual.

- I am great with dogs. If I live with another dog, a calm dog would be the way to go. Or, I could thrive as your one and only.
- I herd. Yes, I do. So, cats and kids are a no. (Kids over 12 I consider more of a young adult.). I have spent some controlled time around a toddler with no issues but that herding is a strong trait in me!
- I need a single family home and a yard. No, it doesn't have to be fenced. No apartments or condos please.
- I know many commands and of course, all of the basics. (Because I can learn things in about 2 seconds.)
- I have great recall.
- I am good off leash.
- Sure, I am up for a jog, I am up for a long hike, I am up for a brisk walk BUT, I am also totally fine if one day, fetch in the yard is your activity of choice.
- I will be your best buddy, your sidekick and your most loyal companion.
- I am cuddly, affectionate and I prefer to be a lap dog if you will let me.
- I am housebroken, crate-trained, and do not cause trouble in the house.

I am located in CT. I am available to meet you and I guarantee I am even cuter in person. Here is a link to the application if you are interested in me! https://www.zivadogrescue.org/adoptable-dogs
