Bindi's Story
Meet Bindi!

She’s very, very sweet. She definitely an older girl. Currently, she is not the most playful. She loves her people, and has the cutest wagging tail when she’s happy! She doesn’t seem fond of other dogs so far, but it could definitely just be barrier frustration (she hasn't been fully dog tested yet).

She has test as a positive for heartworm. She will receive treatment through us, but we arehoping to get her in a warm, loving home prior to the start of her medical treatment.

Origin Story:
Female.
No chip.
Black buckle collar with electrical tape.
Adult.
Australian Shepherd type.
A recent post on fb shows this dog in the upper story of an abandoned warehouse in Black Oak.
However, the man who turned her in says she was found in the woods behind Stracks (Hobart) with a big bag of food.
If you know her family, name or where she may be from please reach out to the shelter
219-942-0103
