When it comes to receiving treats, Billy displays impeccable manners—he takes them gently, reflecting his gentlemanly nature. Billy is in good health overall; he is current on his vaccinations and has tested negative for heartworm. However, he did test positive for Lyme disease, but he has completed treatment for it. While walking on a leash, Billy does fairly well, although he may pull a bit when he becomes excited, likely due to his energetic temperament. He hasn't had the chance to interact with other dogs yet since arriving here, but we believe he will adapt well and make friends with ease given his friendly disposition. Please note that we are not a no-kill shelter, and we must make tough decisions regarding animals who are ill or aggressive. **Adoption Fees:** - $165 for dogs under 5 years old - $100 for dogs over 5 years old - $200 for cell dogs Your adoption fee covers vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella), microchipping, heartworm and Lyme testing, rabies vaccination, spay/neuter, and a dog license. All dogs must be spayed or neutered before leaving the shelter; if this hasn’t been done, we’ll schedule an appointment for you. **Payment:** We accept cash only—no checks, debit, or credit cards please.
