Meet Billy!<br/><br/>55 pounds of love wrapped in a beautiful, silky brindle coat!<br/><br/>Billy is a 4-year-old Pit Bull mix with the sweetest demeanor and a heart that just wants someone to love. This handsome boy would happily spend his days by your side, soaking up hugs, kisses on his head, and being reminded what a good boy he is.<br/><br/>Billy and his brother were rescued from a high-kill shelter in California, where they were on the euthanasia list simply because the shelter was running out of space. Thankfully, both boys were given a second chance!<br/><br/>Billy’s brother has since found his forever family, and now it’s Billy’s turn.<br/><br/>While we don’t know everything about his past, Billy is still learning that he won’t be left behind again. He experiences mild separation anxiety and needs someone who can help him build confidence and understand that he’s finally safe.<br/><br/>What makes Billy special?<br/><br/>Billy is an incredibly affectionate, gentle-hearted boy who simply wants to be loved. He thrives on human companionship, enjoys being close to his people, and has so much love to give.<br/><br/>Billy’s ideal home<br/><br/>Billy would thrive with a patient, understanding adopter who can provide consistency, positive reinforcement, and reassurance as he continues learning his house manners and building confidence.<br/><br/>He doesn’t need someone expecting perfection. He needs someone willing to guide him, celebrate his progress, and show him what a forever future looks like . <br/><br/>A little about Billy , <br/>Dogs: Does well with proper introductions<br/>Cats: No cats, please<br/>Children: Older, dog-savvy children may be a good fit.
