Billy

Billy is the product of the flooding in Iowa, where he was probably misplaced/lost by his family. <br/>Billy was found full of mud, tired and hungry.<br/>He was brought into a kill shelter in Iowa a day or so, after a family had inquired about a missing boxer. The shelter thad either misplaced their information or did not have the right phone number listed. Billy's time had run out and we took him in hoping to find the family searching for their dog. The Quad cities newspaper. along with other newspapers,and authorites have helped spread the word, however, we have had no luck and it has been months. <br/>Billy is thought to be about 8 years old, nuetered, housebroken and extremely affectionate. It is thought that he was probably an only dog, as he was not sure how to intereact with other dogs. Billy does well, when properly introduced and better with females than with the other males, but is tolerant. Billy adores our grandchildren and is extremely comfortable with everyone he meets. Billy truly deserves his own family, a home that will love and nurture him . His very favorite thing to do is to find a sunny corner on a dog bed and nap. Billy wouild make a great companion for an older person or couple as his needs are very simple and he is a very easy and mellow boy.
