Billie's Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.ATDR 3629

Say hello to Billie! This girl is a sweet, beautiful and kind little lady. She loves her new harness and smiles the most when going on walks. This is great because she is starting her fitness journey which she will need to continue. She is around 4 years old and has calm energy. She does great with all other dogs, the vet, groomers and even liked doggy daycare. Billie just has an easy disposition and all who meet her adore her. When her foster mom is away from home she is being crate trained but she is not sleeping in the crate at night. Bilie is learning structure through set feeding times and times to potty as well as time for walks. A good routine will be important to her future success. She does get car sick after about 20 minutes, so long car rides may not be in her future. She is playful with other dogs and has no issues eating around them nor does she have any aggression. She had her hair cut before coming into rescue by someone probably not a groomer, but in time it should grow out some showing that she's a long haired piebald. Her foster mom is focused on training including potty and helping Billie understand consistency. She is not toy focused but does not seem to have a lot of experience with toys. She is interested in treat based puzzles. Everything feels new to Billie and she is a little unsure, but with love, kindness, time and structure she will be a wonderful addition to your family. She is freshly groomed and vetted. In the next two weeks we will be testing her with children and cats, so look for updates here!
In the meantime, if you are looking for a beautiful girl through and through to be your companion and best friend, please submit an adoption application for Billie. Given time to settle in, she will love you more than you could ever imagine.
