Billie's Story

BILLIE, a 1 year young, 39 lb heart worm negative terrier mix needs a home please! Billie was found as a tiny pup on the side of the road and taken in by a family, where she lived for 6 months. Unfortunately, things didn't work out because Billie didn't get along with the family cats, and she was brought to the shelter. Now this young girl is struggling with the stress of kennel life and really needs someone to help her feel safe again.<br/>Billie can be unsure at first, especially in the noisy shelter environment, but once she feels comfortable her playful personality shines through. When she met Napoleon in the play yard, she warmed up to him...and before long the zoomies started! Billie had an absolute blast running and playing with her new friend. Myrtle also befriended Billie and has done well, but she seems inexperienced socially and benefits from slow introductions and a little patience. Billie was house trained so she should relearn quickly and is a good leash walker. Can you help Billie leave shelter life behind and finally find the forever home she deserves? NO CATS FOR BILLIE!
