Upon further diagnostics, we discovered that he has a collapsed disc in his spine, which caused hind limb paralysis.<br/><br/>Although his condition is irreversible, Bikini has adapted incredibly well to his wheelchair. To say that he is happy would be an understatement — this is a dog who radiates joy! He soaks up love and attention and zooms around in his wheels without a care in the world. He welcomes everyone into his life and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats.<br/><br/>Special needs: Due to his spinal injury, Bikini is incontinent and wears a diaper at home. He does not have voluntary control over his bowel movements and needs an adopter who is able to pick up after him. His bowel movements are consistent and tied to his feeding schedule.<br/><br/>Bikini is fostered in Arverne, NY, and is available for local or out-of-state adoption as long as the adopter can travel to meet him.
