Bigs's Story

Hi there... my name is Bigs. I’m a 1.5-year-old mixed breed dog, and while no one is quite sure what I’m made of, I’ve been told I look a bit like a giant Puggle — big eyes, a soft face, and a heart that’s learning how to feel safe again.

My story didn’t start out easy. I was abandoned in the summer heat along a quiet country road, crammed into a small dog crate with two other big dogs. It was scary and confusing, and it taught me to be a little cautious at first. But every day, with kindness and gentle words, I’m learning that the world isn’t such a bad place after all.

I’m a shy guy, but underneath that is a very sweet soul who just needs time and patience to come out of his shell. Once I start to trust you, I’ll be your quiet shadow, your soft-eyed companion, and your reminder that love can heal even the hardest beginnings. I’m making wonderful progress every day, and I’m so proud of how far I’ve come.

If you have room in your heart and home for a dog who will love you deeply once he feels safe, I might be the one you’ve been waiting for. I can’t wait to find a family of my very own — could it be you?
