Big Val's Story

Name: Big Val
Breed: Chihuahua / Terrier Mix
Sex: Spayed Female
Age: 4 months
Weight: 17 lbs
Animal Number: 4467

Sweet, Playful, Smart, Snuggle Bug

Good with dogs? Shes being fostered with her brother and has met the other dog in her home. So far, she has only played with other energetic, small dogs, and will play until she needs some time to chill by herself. She has shown some food resource guarding behavior so should be monitored around other animals in her forever home during mealtime.

Good with cats? Big Val would like to play with the cats in her foster home, but they dont want to play and avoid her.

Good with kids? Big Val is a typical puppy who is mouthy, so any interactions with kids should be monitored.

Energy level: Medium. She loves to play with all kinds of toys and really enjoys chews. She goes outside every few hours to play. She may be a great hiking dog as well as a family dog.

Animal Characteristics: Big Val is a very sweet little lady who loves to play with all toys and will gladly bring you a stick she found. After a good play session she loves to snuggle and spend quality time napping with her people. She is pretty quiet for a puppy and the calmest in her litter of five. She is very smart, willing to learn, and food motivated! She is learning how to sit, is happy to ride in a car, is crate trained and working on potty training. Like all puppies, Val is loads of fun and also plenty of work! She will benefit from continued socialization and training so that she grows up to be the very best mannered girl!

Please learn more about the adoption process and fill out an application at www.pawsco.org/adopt/adoption-process.
