Big Red

Hello! I am Big Red. My new Foster Mom wanted me to tell you a little bit about myself. My most favorite thing to do is cuddle. I like snuggling in big fuzzy blankets or curling up around my human’s neck, or sometimes, Foster Mom will put on Foster Dad’s big sweatshirts and I get to climb inside and curl up! When everybody is busy around the house, I curl up on a stack of laundry, or under the covers in a little bed Foster Mom made me, and take a nap. I really like the sunshine too and like being outside in the nice weather. I like being warm! The other dogs in the house are pretty nice. Every now and then they get all excited about stuff they hear and go off barking and running. I don’t see what the big deal is. I just wander off the other way,... I’d rather snuggle. Foster Mom got me some t-shirts and when I thanked her she giggled. She said maybe she should have named me Squeakers instead. When I get excited and talk to her, she giggles again and mumbles something about squeaking. Maybe she thinks I’m asking for a squeaky toy? I’m not really interested in toys but she is kinda silly. She also keeps putting this thing around my neck when we go for walks. She called it a leash. I just follow the other dogs at my foster home when we go on our walks – they seem to know what they are doing! I’m not really sure what she wants me to do on this “leash”, but I’ll get it figured out soon. She’s always telling me I’m “a good boy”, I’m a “sweet little dude”, and I’m “so well behaved”! I hope so. I try my best! I’m always polite when I meet people (I like everyone), I sleep in my crate at night, I liked it when I get a bath, Oh yeah, and I don’t make a mess in the house! I just want to love and be loved, and cuddle... I want to cuddle a lot! If you would like to cuddle with me, why not fill out an application and take me home?
