Big Boy's Story

This hunk has been a breeding dog in a barn most of his life. He's never lived in a home and needs to work on his house manners. He is doing well on crate training and doesn't mind wearing a belly band. He is stubborn so correction needs to be firm with lots of praise. He's a happy, goofy, playful guy who will snatch food or grab at ypur hands if he thinks you have food. He should do well as an only dog. He only wants to hump or challenge other dogs. Hopefully as the hormones subside this behavior will as well and he may eventually be able to behave himself around other dogs. I don't think he will have issues with cats other than being curious and annoying to them but I cannot confirm this. He has not been around small children. He is very energetic and plays rough so probably not a great fit for toddlers. He is 4 years old and probably 80lbs or more. Please send an inquiry for an application to adopt.

Reigning Cat and Dogs Rescue Inc's Adoption Policy
Adopters must be financially secure homeowners or renters with one year good standing. They must have outstanding vet history or first time pet owners must have great personal references and agree to go through an obedience course with their new addition. A home visit must be done either in person or virtually. Breed experience is a plus. Fenced yard takes precedence over unfenced yards. Obedience training is highly recommended. Must have a trainer in mind for behavioral issues that arise and be financially prepared to obtain one. A vet exam to get on flea/hw prevention is recommended within the first 2 weeks.
