Big Boy's Story
MEET BIG BOY!

80-pound Big Boy (racing name Mamas Fired Up) is certainly big, but he's not especially fired up.
He's a calm, even-keeled fellow who knows how to make himself right at home. His beautiful buckskin-colored brindle coat gleams in the sun and he cuts a dashing figure.
2 ½-year-old Big Boy is getting along well with the two Greyhounds, one male, one female, in his foster home. Big Boy would not be good with cats or small dogs, but he is quite affectionate with people and readily gives kisses.
Overall, he walks well on lead but can pull abruptly if he sees a squirrel or rabbit. This is something that can easily be remedied with a bit of positive reinforcement training and/or a no-pull harness.
On days that his foster dad works from home, Big Boy plays with squeaky toys or rests quietly on a dog bed.

Big Boy has the endearing habit of leaning against your leg when standing, as if to remind you "I'm here!"

We place Greyhounds in homes in the following areas: all of New Jersey; Staten Island NY; and the Pennsylvania counties of Northampton, Lehigh, Berks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Philadelphia and Bucks.
The adoption fee is $675.00.
For more information please visit our website at: www.makepeacewithanimals.org .
