Bianca's Story

Bianca is ready to start 2024 right with her forever family!

We rescued Bianca in Puerto Vallarta in May, a day before she gave birth to one (yes, just one!) puppy. She was in rough shape—worn teeth, patchy fur, itchy skin, and blood work so bad that she nearly needed a transfusion. She’s been with us since then and is a new girl ready for her new life!

Bianca is around 6 years old and about 65 lbs. All she wants is to love and be loved! She’s great with all people, including kids—though she’s a little clumsy when playing so dog-savvy younger kids or older ones are best.

She currently lives with three other dogs and gets along well with them, though she would also be happy as an only dog with all the attention for herself. While she hasn’t been tested with cats, we suspect she would chase them so a cat-free home is best.

Bianca is medium energy and enjoys going for 2 walks per day. Her leash skills are good and we’ve been working on her recall for off-leash time with a long lead.

Our favourite things about Bianca:

* The way her tongue sticks out when she’s sleeping
* Her crazy back scratches on the carpet
* The way she loves hard and just wants to be with you
* Her howls of excitement when you get her leash to go for a walk

Bianca is fully vaccinated and spayed. She is being fostered in Campbell River and is available to families on Vancouver Island.
