A DNA test was done and she is 76% GSD, 24% undetermined (probable Collie, Lab, or Bulldog or ?). BG is cuddly yet spicy.; smart, bold, athletic & very trainable. She would probably excel in dog sports: agility (she loves to climb and tunnel and plank); scentwork (she definitely has the nose and desire for it); rally and obedience (she learns commands quickly and already knows sit, down, circle, spin, step up...). She is crate trained and foster mom is working on potty training. She is probably a late bloomer because of the parvo, but her accidents indoors ARE on pee pads. She would be great with another dog or two, but she should probably be the only female because in true female GSD fashion SHE takes charge(alpha). She is not yet big enough to correct her bigger fur foster brothers when they're rough-housing, but lets her displeasure be heard. <br/><br/>She would make an excellent companion for any house hold. To adopt her if you have no fence, you would need to demonstrate you can exercise a dog properly and not let them run or be out unattended.<br/><br/>As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved.<br/><br/>We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our rescue dogs to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system. We don not adopt our dogs to folks who plan to have the dogs living outside 24/7 or the majority of time or living in a kennel type environment.
