You may also email us at petadoptions@kckpd.org to inquire about where you can meet any of our pets.<br/><br/>-----------<br/><br/>Meet BEZOS!<br/><br/>When Bezos first came to us, he was suffering from a painful skin infection, missing fur, and the effects of being neglected. He didn’t look or feel his best—but none of that stopped him from greeting everyone with the sweetest heart. <br/><br/>Now look at him! His skin has healed, his beautiful coat has grown back, and he’s finally feeling as wonderful as he looks. Bezos has come such a long way, but one thing never changed: his gentle, loving personality.<br/><br/>Bezos adores people and wants nothing more than to be close to them. He’ll happily follow you from room to room, lean in for cuddles, and soak up every bit of love you’re willing to give. He also does well with other dogs! <br/><br/>His before-and-after photos show an incredible transformation—but his story isn’t complete just yet. Bezos is ready for the best part: finding a family who will love him forever.<br/><br/>Bezos is a 2 year old Pit Bull mix and he weighs 50 lbs. <br/><br/><br/>ADOPTING A DOG<br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
