Thankfully they wound up at a local vet where they started to get medical care as I worked on foster homes and transport. Beverley and Langley (now in his new home), flew to Illinois with the help for Pilot Christy a week later. Beverley is safe in foster care and being treated for Lyme disease and Rocky Mountain spotted fever and thankfully doing well.

We are sure both dogs were dumped because they weren't hunting and sadly as they were starved, we know Beverley, especially, was treated unkindly. She can be timid, but once she feels safe, she is a very loving silly Setter. Bev is also learning how to play with other dogs and she is also learning about toys.
We will need a patient, caring home that can help Beverley continue to build her confidence. We are only looking for a pet home in the Chicago area that has a safe fenced in yard. Bev would also benefit from a confident playful companion. We do require safe fenced in yards.

If you interested in foster to adopt or adoption, please submit an application at helpibr.org. You can also call Lisa@ 630-694-1359
