Betty White

Betty used to live in a camper with a couple and over 15 dogs. In February 2023 we helped them with 10 dogs by getting them fixed and adopted. We did not know they had kept Betty until August of 2023. At that time they allowed us to get her spayed. They reached out to us again recently and asked us to help rehome more of their dogs because their camper was no longer working in the winter for them. They moved almost an hour away but were not able to bring 3 of the dogs with them. So Betty and the other 2 dogs were living in a shed and the couple would drive there every day to feed them. <br/><br/>Betty was not properly socialized as a pup so she can be scared of new people and situations. She has gotten much better in just the first 2 weeks that we have had her! She LOVES men. And she loves playing with other dogs. We do require that she have another confident dog in her new home to help her learn how to be a dog. She gets along fine with cats, doesn't chase. Respectful kids are great as well.<br/><br/>She is mostly potty trained but needs a little work yet. But a consistent routine is all she really needs. <br/><br/>She is not a fan of the kennel so she is working on that. <br/><br/>It doesn't take her long to warm up to people and she is then a total snuggle bug.
