Meet Betty Boop, aka Betty Spaghetti! At 8 years old and 15 pounds, Betty is a tiny little lady with very simple priorities: a cozy couch, good snacks, a few nice walks, and someone to cuddle with.<br/><br/>Betty is sweet, calm, incredibly well-mannered, and has settled beautifully into her foster home. She can be a little nervous when something is new, but give her a minute and she settles right in.<br/><br/>She does well meeting new people, is fully potty and crate trained, knows sit and stay, and has yet to make much of a peep — her foster hasn’t heard her bark or growl once.<br/><br/>Betty is still getting used to NYC leash life. She definitely seems to have walked on leash before, but busy sidewalks are a whole different ball game, and she’s figuring them out one walk at a time. She enjoys getting outside, although sometimes she needs a little convincing to leave her very important post on the couch.<br/><br/>She’s done well with calm dogs and has actually become a sweet, steady presence for her foster’s dog. Rowdier, high-energy pups are a little more than Betty would prefer, so she’d be perfectly happy as your one and only or sharing her home with another mellow dog.<br/><br/>Most of the time, Betty just wants to be near her people. She’s happy snoozing on the sofa while you work, hanging out quietly when guests come over, or curling up beside you at the end of the day. She doesn’t ask for much — just a peaceful home, plenty of love, and preferably a very comfortable place to nap.<br/><br/>Betty would be a wonderful apartment dog and an especially great match for someone looking for a sweet, low-key companion.
