Meet Betty Boop 🤍<br/><br/>Betty Boop is a gentle, affectionate Rottweiler mix (just over a year old) who is ready to trade her past for a life full of love, comfort, and connection.<br/><br/>When Betty was first found, it was clear she had recently weaned puppies but heartbreakingly, she was alone. Now that her days of caring for others are behind her, it’s finally her turn to be cared for… and she has so much love to give.<br/><br/>And when we say love..we mean deep, soulmate-level love.<br/><br/>Betty is the ultimate cuddle companion. She doesn’t just want to be near you, she wants to be as close as physically possible. If you’re on the couch, she’ll slowly inch her way right up against you. If you’re in bed, she’ll be right there beside you (and yes… she fully plans on being your sleeping buddy). She is a “physical touch” girl through and through.<br/><br/>Because of this, Betty is looking for a specific kind of home:<br/>Someone who wants that constant closeness. Someone who sees their dog as a best friend, shadow, and everyday companion and not just a pet.<br/><br/>If you’re not a “dog on the couch / dog in the bed” kind of person, she may not be the right fit. But if you are… she will be your heart dog.<br/><br/>Beyond her affectionate nature, Betty is smart and eager to learn. She already knows “sit,” has great recall, crates easily, and is completely house trained. She’s very trainable and would thrive with someone willing to continue guiding her into her best adult self.<br/><br/>Like many young dogs, she still has a little playful mischief. If she gets bored, she might chew on a rug or slipper, and she’s learning how to be gentler during play. With a little structure and attention, she’s going to blossom into an incredibly well-mannered companion.<br/><br/>She does well on leash, has been friendly meeting other dogs, and carries a calm, easygoing presence making her a great fit for someone wanting a loyal, steady dog rather than a high-energy puppy!
