Meet Betty Blue!<br/><br/>Her silver/brown coat is soft and shiny, and her eyes are intelligent and kind. She knows she's a bit portly, but she's working on that, walking a couple of miles a day! Once she drops a few pounds, she is going to be absolutely stunning!!! <br/><br/>Betty Blue is intelligent and affectionate. She loves to go for walks, she's VERY good on a leash. <br/><br/>Her medical records indicate that she is a "Terrier Mix".<br/><br/>As a stray, Betty looked longingly with her big brown eyes at people who passed her by with nary a second glance. Being the kind, trusting soul that she is, she was hoping that someone would rescue her and take her home with them. Eventually, she found herself in a shelter where, unbeknownst to her, she was in jeopardy of being euthanized. We were able to pull her from "death row" just in time, with only minutes to spare.<br/><br/>Betty Blue is confident, and absolutely wonderful with humans, and she's very friendly toward other dogs. She would do best in a home where she is the only dog or with another calm and mature dog. Betty doesn't appreciate young overexcited dogs in her space but she has been perfectly fine with other laid-back dogs. <br/><br/>Betty Blue is about 4 years old, and she currently weighs about 60 lbs. Her optimal weight is about 55 lbs, and she is determined to get back her girlish figure.
