MEET BETTY BLUE — OUR BEAUTIFUL HUSKY GIRL

Betty Blue is a 3-year-old purebred Husky who has already endured more than any dog should ever have to.

Betty was neglected and dumped on Punta Santiago Beach by the only family she had ever known. She was starving, and after being hit by a car, she stayed in one spot—waiting and waiting for her family to come back for her.

But they never did.

Then came Elba. She found Betty, saw how badly she needed help, and cried. She immediately called us.

We told her, “Get our girl.”

And that’s exactly what she did.

Betty came into the Luving Paws program, and we went to work. She required extensive surgery to save her leg, along with the medical care and nutrition she desperately needed to become healthy again.

And look at her now.

Despite her heartbreaking beginnings, Betty is THRIVING in our care. She was worth every single penny we spent on her, and we absolutely adore this girl.

Because Betty was starved, she needs to be fed separately from other dogs. And honestly... who could blame her? She learned the hard way that food wasn’t always guaranteed. She deserves to feel safe now. She deserves to know that she will never be hungry again.

Betty Blue is:
3 years old
Purebred Husky
Spayed
Microchipped
Fully vaccinated
Heartworm negative
Healthy and thriving after extensive medical care

Betty is currently in Puerto Rico, but she can be flown to Newark, NJ or Boston, MA for her adopter to pick her up.

Whoever gets Betty Blue is going to be one VERY lucky person. She has been through hell and still has so much love to give.

Now we just need to find the family who will show her what it means to be truly loved.

Interested in Betty Blue?
