Betty

Betty is a typical family dog...kind of lazy, but effective when duty calls. She is laid back and friendly with people (once she knows them), good with cats and other dogs in her pack. She is also gentle around chickens. (She would need to be supervised with chickens at first so she knows they are part of the family.) Once she has settled into her new home, she will be a loyal and reliable family member who prefers to stick around, rather than wanting to roam. She doesn't bark much, only when she hears coyotes. She is very sweet in general and is an easy keeper. She has only been an outside dog, but would be fine as an indoor/outdoor pet. Potty training would be very easy using a temporary diaper. Betty requires a yard with a 4 foot fence or taller, or acreage in the country.
