ATTENTION: PLEASE READ THROUGH TO SEE WHETHER YOU MEET OUR ADOPTION CRITERIA BEFORE RESPONDING. IF YOU MEET OUR CRITERIA FOR ADOPTION OF THIS DOG, PLEASE FOLLOW THE LINK TOWARD THE BOTTOM OF THE PROFILE TO COMPLETE OUR APPLICATION. THANK YOU!

We don’t know for sure what breed mix Betty is, but we made our best guess. Betty is a stunning, young, athletic and energetic dog who is enthusiastic about everything. She loves to sprint, wrestle, jog, fetch, hike, swim, camp...and then snuggle all night long. She is insecure about meeting new people or dogs on leash, but once she breaks the ice, she is a real sweetie and a lighthearted goofball. Her foster mom’s favorite things to do with Betty is to throw balls into the waves on the Oregon coast for Betty to retrieve, and to rest her head on Betty like a big furry pillow.

Betty needs a home with someone who is as active and energetic as she is. She needs a home with adults only, and needs someone with previous dog ownership experience. She can only go to a home with another active young dog who likes to run and wrestle and share their toys with her and a yard with a tall, secure fence. Betty isn’t aggressive towards cats, but most kitties would find her obnoxious and overwhelming. Betty is potty trained and crate trained, but shouldn’t be left alone all day long while her human family members work a 9-5 schedule.

Betty is a smart cookie who loves to be challenged. She enjoys K9 Nosework (sniffing games) and agility classes, and has completed obedience training at Sit Means Sit. In fact, Sit Means Sit has offered her new owner complimentary training sessions!!!

Adoption Process: We are not first come first served. Indigo Rescue focuses on finding good matches between dogs and families to ensure life long adoptions. We deliver all dogs to their new homes. All of our dogs are in foster homes.

If you’re interested in meeting one of our dogs, please use the following link and complete our Adoption Application. You can either scan your completed application and email it to us at: info@indigorescue.org, or you can fax it to us at: 888-502-7660.

If the dog you're interested in seems compatible with your lifestyle we'll set up a time for you to meet the dog privately.
PLEASE NOTE: Indigo Rescue only adopts to homes within 30 miles of Beaverton because our volunteers deliver all of our dogs to their adoptive homes. We work very hard to create a family of our Indigo Rescue adopters because we want to be close enough to help in case there are any problems. We want everyone to be happy and successful!

**ALL of our dogs, puppies, cats, kittens and rabbits come vaccined to their age, spayed/neutered and microchipped.

Thank you for your interest in adopting and saving a life.
