Betty's Story
Meet Betty!

Betty is a 1.5 year old pit mix who came to us as a stray. She is extremely timid, fearful, and unsure of herself here at the shelter. Betty would do best in a quiet, low energy home where she can feel safe enough to slowly come out of her shell. Adults and older children would be ideal, as rambunctious and loud kiddos would frighten her with their vivacious energy. We are carefully working to gain Miss Betty's trust and grow her self confidence. As we're getting to know her more, we know she likes soft blankets, warm sunspots, and quiet walks.

If you're ready to give this cutie a chance, come visit Betty! Please be prepared for minimal affection and attention from her, as she does not feel comfortable enough to show her true colors yet.
