BETTY's Story
The Betty life. Nice walks on a beautiful day. Scratches and some yummy snacks. What more could a dog ask for, well, besides a loving home? This 9-year-old girl is hoping to find her forever home. Betty weighs 54 pounds. And she has an additional 54 pounds in the form of her best friend, Balto, where one goes, the other follows. Two great dogs are waiting for their new home. One of our voluenteers took the pair out for a lovely hike, read in her won words how it went: Today we took Betty and Balto for a walk on the river trail. Betty was hesitant to jump in the car but once we offered a treat she went up the stairs. They both did well in the car. They were excited to be out on the trail. Balto led the way and Betty always followed close behind. Several bikes passed us and they paid no mind. They did bark at passing dogs but did not lunge. They both like to sniff around and enjoyed a water and snack break in the shade. They are a fun duo, very treat motivated and easygoing. Betty and Balto are a bonded pair; their joint adoption fee is $40. She is spayed, microchipped, and has age-appropriate vaccinations. A licensing fee may apply.
