Sweet little Betsy Ross (Betsy) and her friend Lady Liberty (Libby) were found by a good Samaritan on July 3 - they had been dumped behind a local grocery story, left to die.<br/><br/>The kind woman that found them promptly put them in her car where they could cool down (it was 96degrees that day) and call us.<br/><br/>It was touch and go for the first 24 hours, but we immediately provided emergency vet care for them.<br/><br/>Both these adorable girls are feeling all better now and are happy and bouncy girls!<br/><br/>Betsy is likely around 12 weeks old now - has received her baby shots and has gotten a clean bill of health from our vets!<br/><br/>Betsy appears to be an American Staffordshire mix girl - with the most beautify eyes! She is a bit more shy than her friend Libby but is quickly learning to explore her new world and has come out of her shell.<br/><br/>This adorable girl is so sweet....very food driven (both puppies were emaciated and dehydrated when they arrived) - she will do anything for a treat and is learning to sit if offered a treat.<br/><br/>She will likely be around 40lbs when grown and is a really good puppy - please be the one to give her a safe and loving fur-ever home of her own. She plays well with other pups and likes kiddos. She is working on her house training.<br/><br/>Adoption fee includes all her puppy shots, worming, microchip with a lifetime registration and a pre-paid voucher that covers the cost of her spay at our vet.
