Betsy is a two-year-old, 35-pound sugar pie who is looking for her forever home!

Any chance she gets, she will be as close as she can to her people, showering them with love and cuddling oh-so close. Betsy is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and very curious! Sometimes her curiosity will get the best of her and she gets into things she probably shouldn’t be in. Positive reinforcement training and keeping tempting things out of reach will be helpful.

She is a fairly laid-back gal, only barking when she is alone, so apartment living may not be the best option for her. Betsy does enjoy going for a few walks each day but with the current cold (not her favorite!) she has been okay cuddling up indoors. A fenced-in yard would be awesome too giving her opportunity to stretch those long legs; however, it should be a well-secured fence as her curiosity leads her to sneak out of the smallest openings.

She hasn’t really been around other dogs or cats, but with her mellow nature, her foster fam feels that she would be good with both. And add we mention she loves being around people? She does! So, as long as there are people in her forever home who will love her every single day, she will be so happy!



Her adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, leptospirosis, & bordetella), HW and flea/tick preventative, and microchip implant and registration.

Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.

Due to post-adoption services provided, it is Pet Haven's policy to only place dogs into homes within a 60-mile radius of the Twin Cities area.
