Beth is a 7 yr old, 17.2 lb female Dachshund/beagle mix. She wants to be loved by someone & be with them. She is quiet & shy<br/>She was heartworm positive when we got her 3 yrs ago but she has been treated. We have had her a little over under 3 years. She is a wonderful dog & needs someone who is patient & caring. She likes quiet & seems to be skiddish with loud sounds, when in new surroundings. She needs a back yard to explore. If given the chance in new surroundings, because she is not comfortable, she will dart out of an open door. She is not fond of a leash or harness & she will try to get out of it & run away. We have had her 3 years & she does well, so we know that with the right setting & the right family, she will do well. She would do well with a family that is not interested in taking her for walks, but spending time in a secured back yard or inside the home. She has a lot of love to give. She is fixed, chipped, wormed, heartworm treated & she is now on a 1 yr heartworm prevention shot. She is on flea and tick prevention. She has all of her shots. She has had a dental & a neg fecal. Her adoption fee is 380.
