Beta (NC)'s Story

Beta is being fostered in NC

Such a sweet laid back lady who is a joy to have around! ... enjoys being scratched and loved on, but not too much of a cuddler???? or at least not with me…. Chewing on bone marrow is a favorite pastime, along with wandering around the yard if it is not hot out?. She isn’t particularly attached to any specific bed, she kind of likes to bounce from one place to another…sort of like Goldie Locks?. If she is needing to go out she starts wandering around, so regular bathroom outings are definitely suggested… she is wonderful on a leash, slowly enjoys sniffing everything while perking up at all the sounds around and responding with a few barks that are too adorable. As for eating, she is definitely spoiled, plain dry kibble is not going to do it. So we rotate different foods mixed into her kibble… she is quite fond of chicken broth and rice with frozen mixed veggies though so she gets that several times a week. Shredded boiled chicken and plain yogurt is another favorite… it has been a wonderful experience watching her come out of her shell, and I’m sure she has only begun that personality development… she would make anyone a fabulous companion, excellent with dogs of all sizes and cats are of zero interest to her, she just passes them by or lays with them. I can’t say enough of how much of a joy she is to have around.
BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
