Bet's Story
Courtesy Listing:
A little over a year ago, I traveled to North West Kentucky and
bailed out a loving little girl named Bet. She was in a home that raised Labs and needless to say she was the outsider and was treated as such. She was in terrible shape with fleas and ticks all over and her long black and white coat was so matted I had to cut tons of it away just to be able to give her a long over due shampoo.

Bet has a wonderful pedigree and comes from a long line of herding champions so that being said we contacted the breeder and found out that she had been started on sheep and was doing quite fine when she left Wales a
few years before but because she had been penned up and not worked she had forgotten most of not all she had been taught as a youngster.

She is now 6 years old and still has the heart of a youngster but will not make the competitor that we hoped she would in the herding arena. That being said she is as athletic as they come and would make a wonderful frisbee or agility dog. She would make a wonderful fly ball dog also. She is crate trained, house trained and loves to be snuggled and brushed. She also rides very well in a car.

She is intact so would need to be fixed before she is could be re-homed. She would do the best in a home that she would be the only dog as she does not get along well with other females or in one that has a male.

Please contact Carson Cox at CarsonC27545@nc.rr.com for more information on Bet
