Bessie's Story

Bessie is very loving, extremely smart, gets along with other dogs, and loves all the belly rubs. She is about 40 pounds and 1.5 years old. She has learned how to use the talking dog buttons, loves treats, and her hard chew toys. Bessie knows the commands "sit", "shake", and is working on "lie down" and "stay". She loves her crate and will easily go in by saying "go to your house".

She does well with other dogs and older kids (or taller ones). I believe she would do well in a home with other dogs or with land to run on. She is extremely high-energy, and she can become destructive when that energy doesn't have a chance to wear off. As far as we know, she is a cattle dog breed and exhibits a lot of that breed's characteristics (intelligent, curious, high energy).

Bessie is such a loving dog that deserves a home where she can get her energy out with dog friends or have land to explore! We adopted her from the shelter a year ago to keep our other dog company. Our other dog unexpectedly passed away, and I work outside the home, so she is crated all day and doesn't have many opportunities to get her energy out throughout the week.

Complete an easy, no-obligation online application and take the first step towards welcoming (dogs name) into your home by clicking on this link https://form.jotform.com/222028369049155
