Hi, my name is Bess, and I'm a quiet, ladylike Chihuahua mix who has quickly become one of Tracy's favorites. I came from the streets, which is probably why I'm so grateful for every bit of kindness. I'm not a demanding dog at all-truly, all I want is someone who will be gentle and good to me.<br/><br/>I was starving when I arrived here and now weigh 14 lbs. I should probably lose a pound or two but it's so hard. I do not like diets.<br/><br/>I get along beautifully with everyone. You'll often find me sitting back and observing while the other dogs act like little wild things, and I'm perfectly content just watching the show. What I really dream of is having a home of my own and a cozy lap to curl up on.<br/><br/>I am Chagas positive, but please don't let that scare you. I'm already doing great on treatment, it's inexpensive to maintain, and I'm nearly halfway through it. I feel wonderful and just need someone willing to love me through the rest of my journey.
