What is Helping Hands Rescue’s adoption process?

The first step to adopting a pet from Helping Hands is to send us an email about that particular pet. We can be reached at helpinghandspetrescue@gmail.com. Adoptions are done on a first-come-first-served basis unless you have an approved adoption application on file. Adoption applications are sent to you via email after your initial inquiry. Once the adoption application is approved, we will do our best to schedule a meeting/adoption during the week. Unfortunately, this is not always possible and we may have you come to our next adoption event (every Saturday) at Petsmart. Some dogs do require a "home visit." Keep in mind that the home visit is not to judge you but to make sure the environment is safe for that particular animal. Some of the dogs that come into our rescue are escape artists. Some do not get along with other animals. A home visit gives us the opportunity to point out areas that may be problematic...or to help you with
