Bertie

Meet Bertie!

Bertie is a gorgeous, fuzzy little girl who is ready to find her forever family! This adorable puppy 3 month old puppy came to us as a stray, but we suspect she may have been part of a litter born locally earlier this year and was one of the last pups that her previous owners did not sell or give away. However she got her start, Bertie has found her way to us, and now she’s ready to make her way into your heart!

Bertie is a playful, spunky, and silly girl who may be a little shy when meeting new friends, but give her a little time to warm up and her goofy personality comes shining through! Once she feels comfortable, she’s all about happy play bows, zoomies, and getting ready to rock and roll. This girl has plenty of puppy silliness to share and is sure to keep her family smiling!

Bertie is a bit of a mystery mutt, but we’ve been told she is primarily Border Collie and German Shepherd. We suspect there may be a little Husky in the mix, too! With those breeds in her family tree, Bertie is expected to grow into a larger, active, high energy girl who will need plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and enrichment to keep her happy and fulfilled. She’s looking for athletic humans who are excited to include their canine companion in life’s adventures and provide her with the time, training, and activities she’ll need to thrive.

Bertie has done well meeting other friendly dogs, though her puppy play style can be a little rambunctious! She may be happiest with canine companions who enjoy a good game of “ruff”-housing and can keep up with her enthusiastic play. Like all puppies, Bertie will benefit from continued socialization, confidence building, and consistent positive reinforcement based training as she grows.

If you’re looking for a fuzzy best friend to join you on hikes, explore the great outdoors, and bring a whole lot of goofy puppy energy into your life, Bertie might just be your girl! She can’t wait to find a family who will help her grow into the amazing adventure buddy she’s meant to be.
