Bert's Story

Looking for a sweet, snuggly boy? Meet Bert! Bert was found as a stray, so we don't know his exact age, but he's estimated to be around 1–2 years old. For a young dog, he has a wonderfully calm, lower-energy personality. He is very people-oriented and loves to snuggle. Bert has been friendly with everyone he's met so far and would do best in a home where he isn't left alone for long periods. If you let dogs sleep in your bed, he's a gentleman and happily sleeps at the foot of the bed all night. Bert walks nicely on leash and enjoys relaxed strolls. He gets along well with other dogs but is more on the reserved side, so a lower-energy dog friend would likely be the best match. He can get a little excited and jump up for attention, but he responds well to correction and should improve quickly with training. He also knows how to use a dog door and is almost fully potty trained. If you're looking for a cuddly companion who loves food, naps, and chill walks, Bert might be your perfect match.
