Bernice's Story

Bernice is 3-4 years old and a former breeder's mama looking to finally start a new life of her own in Colorado! We've not done a DNA test on her, but believe she's mostly, if not entirely, Dogo Argentino. She suffered a traumatic facial injury at some point in her past (maybe barbed wire fence?) that scarred her face and left her blind in her left eye. But despite a rough start in life, Bernice is a total sweetheart - great on leash, loves meeting new people, and has also proven to be friendly with all the dogs she's met so far (but doesn't get along with cats). She'll be extremely loyal and loving companion for her lucky adopter!
