Bernard's Story

Meet Bernard!
This adorable little 5-month-old, 14 lb (and growing!) guy is basically the perfect puppy. We’re guessing he’s a hound/Chihuahua/Boxer-ish mix, but honestly... who cares when you’re this cute?!
Bernard is a professional snuggler, toy enthusiast, and certified dog play addict. He LOVES other dogs, his toys, treats, chews, car rides, and most of all his humans. If you like dogs who think personal space is optional, Bernard is your guy. He would happily spend all day in your lap.
He’s great on leash, loves walks, and is learning all the important puppy stuff. He’s doing wonderfully with potty training, although frequent potty breaks are still a thing. He’s also crate trained for short periods and settles after a little protest.
Bernard is playful but knows how to chill. He’ll happily wrestle with his dog friends and then curl up on the couch with a toy or chew. He’s a little shy at first, but warms up quickly and is incredibly sweet.
His only requests? Let him on the furniture, give him plenty of love, and prepare to have a tiny shadow attached to you.
Bernard is ready to find his forever family!
Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful animals, we ask that you please fill out our online application: https://form.jotform.com/223268341300041

We are a 100% volunteer organization and have to work other jobs to pay the bills. Please give us up to 48 hours to respond.

Submission of an adoption application does not obligate you to adopt nor does it guarantee approval. We look forward to hearing from you.

Please note all animals in the home must be altered, up to date on vaccines, and be on heartworm prevention. We understand there are some special cases and will take those into consideration.
